Pandamonium

Quotable Quote from Kungfu Panda:

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.

Never again...

The past few days were simply hell. Experienced bone pain again, the very same kind I suffered from for a whole month before diagnosis. (how did I ever survive that period?) The GCSF(granulocyte-colony stimulating factor) injections proved to be too successful, so my bone marrow became extremely active...which led to extreme pain. Couldn't sleep for two nights. Couldn't stand, couldn't sit, couldn't even lie properly. I remember yelling at my parents and screaming my head off at the doctors and nurses. There I was lying on the bed, clutching the pillow and pleading for painkillers, and all my parents could do was to try massaging me, obviously to no effect. It still hurts now, but at least it's bearable w/o painkillers. I salute the guy who invented painkillers. Can't imagine life for those in pain and w/o palliative care.

My family has been hooked onto Korean drama for the past week, thanks to my aunt who lent us The Legend. Yep, the Bae-yong-jun one. Nobody was interested at first because the actor didn't look good enough to tempt us. =D But my dad started playing it out of curiosity and we became gluyed to it. There are a lot of loopholes in the plot, and I totally did not grasp their major philosophy behind the drama, but at least it's not all about love and romance as most other korean dramas are.
